Who we are

iSpeakDog! is a dog training business run by Tommy Stark, The Dog Director, based in Laguna Niguel, California. This policy covers dogtraineroc.com, thedogdirector.com, the iSpeakDog app, and the email and text messages we send you. Our shop at shop.dogtraineroc.com and outside services we link to (such as Instagram, Facebook, Yelp, or Apple's App Store) have their own policies.

What we collect

• Information you give us: your name, phone number, email address, city, your dog's details, your availability, and anything you write to us through forms, email, text, or the app.
• Session and payment notes: which sessions or packages you booked and how you paid, kept for our business and tax records.
• Website analytics: our sites use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without using advertising cookies.

How we use it

• To reply to you, schedule sessions, and send calendar invites and appointment reminders.
• To send the Weekly Woof newsletter if you signed up. Every issue has an unsubscribe link.
• To keep records of the training we provide and to run and improve our business.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Who helps us

We use a small number of service providers to run the business, and they only handle your information to provide their service to us. They include Google (Gmail and Google Calendar), Mailchimp (newsletter), TextMagic (text reminders), Trello (client records), Cloudflare (website hosting), and Apple (the iSpeakDog app). We may also share information if the law requires it.

Google account data

We use a private, internal tool called Nova to help Tommy manage iSpeakDog's own business Google accounts, such as [email protected]. Nova only connects to accounts the business owns; it never asks for access to your Google account. With the permissions granted, Nova may read, organize, label, and draft email in those business accounts and manage their mail settings.

iSpeakDog's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically, we:

• use Google data only to provide and improve Nova's email features for the business;
• do not sell Google data or use it for advertising;
• do not use Google data to train generalized AI or machine learning models;
• do not let people read Google data except with the account owner's permission, for security, or as the law requires.

How long we keep it

We keep client and session records for as long as we work together and afterward as needed for our business and tax records. Newsletter information is kept until you unsubscribe.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe from the newsletter with the link in any issue.
• Reply STOP to any text reminder to stop texts.
• Email [email protected] to ask what we have about you, or to correct or delete it. California residents have these rights under state law, and we honor them for everyone.

Security

We use reputable service providers and keep access to client information limited to Tommy and the tools that run the business. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable care to protect your information.

Children

Our services are for dog owners, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
