I come to you

Private training is one-on-one at your home or wherever the trouble happens. No kennel drop-off, no training room: you learn the handling yourself.

Beach town distractions

Downtown sidewalks, the pier area, trains along the coast and plenty of other dogs. Once the basics are solid, we practice around real distractions so your dog stays with you.

Close to Saturday class

The Saturday group class at Dee Dog Park in San Juan Capistrano is a short drive north. The first Puppy/Beginner class is free.

How it works

I'm Tommy Stark, The Dog Director: a canine behaviorist and trainer with 20+ years and roughly 20,000 dogs trained. My style is balanced and relationship-based, and about 90% of the work is coaching you, so your dog listens to you after I leave.

Do you serve San Clemente?

Yes. My South Orange County service area runs from Newport Beach to San Clemente, and private sessions come to your home.

What issues do you work on?

Puppy basics, potty training, biting, jumping and barking, leash reactivity, recall, separation anxiety, resource guarding, fear and aggression. One flat rate for all of it.

Do you have packages?

Yes: 3 sessions for $700, 5 for $1,200 (includes group classes), or 10 for $2,500 for longer behavior programs.
